As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to appreciate thoughtful gifts and gifts that can really be used, not just stuff.
This year one of my gifts is this “cup of cheer” coffee gift basket.
This was actually a gift for a white elephant, but would be perfect for that coffee lover in your life.
I included some coffee, holiday syrups, nutpods peppermint mocha creamer, and a holiday mug with a christmas message I added with my cricut.
This cost me about $20 to make and I got all the stuff (including wrapping) from just two stores.
Coffee
Of course at the heart of this gift is the coffee.
My favorite coffee brand is Lavazza so I grabbed some of that at World Market.
Coffee Syrups
I love the occasional coffee syrup. They add fun flavor to your coffee.
Torani is my favorite brand and when I saw these mini syrups I had to get them! Monin is another good brand that had a set of mini syrups if you want more variety.
Creamer
I love Nutpods creamer and peppermint mocha. So this creamer was a given for this gift basket.
It also does not have to be refriderated until it’s open making it the perfect addition to the gift basket.
Mug

Then of course to top off your basket you need a mug! I found the one I used at Dollar Tree and created a Cricut decal to add to liven the mug up a little. I love the way it turned out, you can download the design here for free if you want to try it for yourself!
Wrapping
For the wrapping I grabbed a basket, tissue paper, cellophane, and ribbon from Dollar Tree, put it all together and tied it up.
See it on TikTok
If you want to see how it all came together, I posted a video about it on my TikTok
@thehomemadehost Another gift idea. I got all the coffee products from World Market, the rest from Dollar Tree. About $20 total, great white elephant gift #diy
