Antiques Online
Antique and vintage items not only have more character, but sometimes they can be more affordable than buying new.
Buying antiques online can be more convenient and give you more options than shopping in person.
My favorite three places to buy antique or vintage items are:
- eBay
- Etsy
- Poshmark
Antique Website #1: eBay
eBay is probably not a surprise to anyone. It has been around for a while, but I still think people don’t utilize it enough. There are new items being added every minute. I have found a few good deals on eBay, such as these four cups and saucers for less than $20 shipped.
My tips for shopping eBay are to filter. I like to filter by price of course, then maybe by shipping price as well. These filters can get really specific, but sometimes it is fun to type in a general word such as “china” and put those low price point filters on and see what you can find.
Antique Website #2: Etsy
Many people think of Etsy for crafts and handmade items, but there is also a decent selection of vintage items.
You can also filter by “vintage” so that you can see only vintage items, which can be helpful when searching.

Much like eBay, I like to search general terms of something I am shopping for, and put price filters on it to see what I can find.
Online Antique Website #3: Poshmark
Did you know Poshmark has a home section? This one might surprise you but I have found some great items from Poshmark’s home section.

The selection is much smaller, but one thing I do like is that you know the shipping price will always be constant and you can negotiate the price with the seller.
I got this beautiful Wedgwood vase and two busts from Poshmark. Poshmark is great for searching for specific brands, as well as keywords. Once again I typically use price filters to browse.
